The purpose of processing personal data
The purpose is to manage customer relations, put the rights and obligations of the customer and the data controller into action, process personal data in accordance with the Finnish Personal Data Act for purposes related to online services and research, and direct the marketing communications and/or direct marketing of the data controller and/or its partners via the channels and services of the data controller using customer data, without conveying personal data to external parties.
The duration of storing personal data
Personal data is stored for a duration that is necessary.
Data contents of the file
The file may include the following customer data:
– Name
– E-mail address
– Mobile phone number and/or another type of phone number
– Address
– Organisation and the person’s position within it
– The address of the organisation
– Communications log
The file’s regular sources of data
The file is compiled from the customer data system of the data controller, publicly available online sources and, potentially, other public sources. Normally, the sources for addresses are specified if they are not the sources mentioned above.
Regular data transfers
The data in the file can be shared within the organisation, and, when necessary, between the organisation and its partners. The data controller will not disclose the personal data of customers to external parties, unless this is required by the Finnish authorities. The data will not be transferred outside the EU or the EEA.
Inspection, correction and removal of data
The customer is entitled to view their own personal data and request the correction of erroneous data, when necessary. The data can be removed either on the person’s request or when the customer relationship ends.

The security principles of the file
Personal data is stored confidentially. The data networks of the data controller and its potential IT partners and the hardware on which the file is located are protected by a firewall and other necessary technical measures.
